I have a beacon and wear it when I'm out in the back-country with my friends. But the snow we get in the Pacific NW is very dense and heavy and stabilizes fairly quickly. We don't worry as much about slides as folks do in Colorado, where the snow is light and fluffy and takes awhile to settle. And when I ski up adjacent to the ski runs at Timberline (an inbound ski area), there's no avy danger. So when I need an uphill fix, and I'm by myself, I just go there and do my climbing.Linda W.https://www.blogger.com/profile/00805197763483105000noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2422614727792055025.post-23687969602079179312014-01-13T17:20:32.087-07:002014-01-13T17:20:32.087-07:00neat, clean and no clutter.neat, clean and no clutter.Photo Cachehttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17734663922538063553noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2422614727792055025.post-91322354248948583932014-01-13T16:28:28.982-07:002014-01-13T16:28:28.982-07:00Hello Al,
