Fiery Balloons

For this week's My World Tuesday post, here are the last of my photos from the Balloon Glow at the Colorado Balloon Classic. The first is a close-up of where the fire comes out, the second is looking up into a balloon with the flame.

  1. Awesome captures as always, Al! I do love the balloons, as I've told you before, but this is seeing them from a different perspective and they're superb! Hope your week is off to a good start! Enjoy!

  4. Questa foto sicuramente rappresenta l'accensione di una mongolfiera, vista all'interno della stessa !

  6. Oh, Al, I can always count on you for great photos. By the way, have you ever seen the children's picture book, Hot Air Henry, about a Siamese cat who accidentally takes off alone in a hot air balloon? The illustrator, Erick Ingraham, shows the balloons from every possible angle. You really should check it out (says the children's librarian, ret.).

  11. I LOVE balloon festivals! Your captures are gorgeous! I went to the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta a few weeks ago...sensational! Unfortunately, the weather was uncooperative at night for the balloon glows when I was there. But, I have been to them at other places so I wasn't too devastated. Your post is super!

  15. It looks like it is very hot from your photo. I know in Australia, they start off at 6 am, because a 3 hour ride can become stuff and hot.
