Near where the Yellowstone River goes down two large waterfalls are two overlooks, one on either side of the canyon. Both were among my favorite places in Yellowstone, and here are a couple of shots from the northern one to illustrate why. This one is known as Inspiration Point.

Totally wonderful shots. I also love the Yellowstone river views. My shots from inspiration are rather blah, but Artist point has treated me quite well..... I'll have to post one for "Scenic Sunday" tomorrow!

ReplyDeleteThis was a very beautiful area. We walked the canyon and they did a loop back through the forest where there were some thermal features. I would love to return one day.
