Zaanse Schans

For this week's Sunday Scans post, here's an August 1973 photo of Zaanse Schans, a village in Holland.

    These Dutch windmills are somehow so poetic! They seem to represent a different era and are muck more appealing than the modern wind machine produced for making electricity.
