Bellevue's Ferns

For my last Scenic Sunday entry of the year, here are some photos of ferns taken in Bellevue's Mercer-Slough Park back in May.
I loved the vibrant green of the ferns (not something we see in the dry climate where I live), and the sunlight in the second shot (not something we saw much of when we visited the Seattle and Vancouver area).

    Ah, we do have lots of green -- these days we also have lots of GRAY! Love your captures, Al! The Mercer-Sough Park is such a lovely area! Have a great day! Give Socks a pat for Sam and me!

    Beautiful green photos! I think ferns are one of my favorite plants! I always turn them over to see if they have spores :D

    The sunlight on the ferns is fantastilc. Expecially knowing the picture came from the PNW! Happy New Year.

    The weather was cold. Some parents are like that, then when the kids are sick with "noodles" running down their noses, and not wearing enough clothes, they still come to school.

    I like the vibrant green but I also liked your photo with the lightning. As for your photo showing the snow in your driveway – my! That makes me shiver just to look at it! Have a joyful New Year.
