This week's theme on Tina's PicStory is contrast, so I took a photo of my black dog Socks against white snow. The only good way I've found to photography him is against a light background, preferably with a shallow depth of field, as I did here.
And he's important part of my family's world, so I'm linking this to Our World Tuesday too!

Socks looks so serious here, as if he knows he will stand out very well against a snowy background. The amazing contrast showcases a beautiful canine!
