I'm going back to last May for these shots from Seattle. These are from the famous market, and cover several memes. First, they're for Our World Tuesday.
Lots of flowers were for sale.
Seafood too, tastefully arranged!
And for Tina's PicStory theme of fruits, as well as the Signs Signs meme, here are some incredible pears, as well as ordinary apricots and cherries.
We always visit this market when we're in the Seattle area.
Gorgeous flowers and fruits!
ReplyDeleteIt is a fantastic market, isn't it, Al? I enjoy going there any time I get the opportunity! Terrific captures for the day! Hope your week is off to a good start! Enjoy!

ReplyDeleteI didn't know fruit could arose such emotion!
ReplyDeleteWhy does everything look so good there? Beautiful flowers, food, etc. Is it from all the rain?!? Nice shots.

I'd love a marketplace like this in the New Haven (CT) area; So many sights, things to purchase and eat on the same trip. Although the theme is fruit, I am taken especially by that crab leg and pincer holding the US dime. It would be a shame to crack that appendage, it is too much fun to not keep looking at it!
ReplyDeleteHello,
ReplyDeleteThese are beautiful photos of flowers and fruit! Even the lobster with the coin like it very much!
Happy day,
Laina
Great shots of the market!
ReplyDeleteWe really need to get over that way sometime soon, to visit the market if nothing else.
thanks for joining us with all your vitamins :) great shots!
ReplyDeleteI like the flower shot very much.
ReplyDeleteOh the market looks fabulous!!! I love regular supermarkets so the flowers and fruits in your photos look like heaven, I'd probably be there for hours :D
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing!

I have not seen the firey red cherries. Glad that you are a fruit person.
ReplyDeletePike Street Market? Whenever we visit, I always just want to live there! (There are some apartment/condos in the neighborhood I think, but last time I checked I hadn't yet won the lottery.)
ReplyDeleteMany years ago, when my young husband got stationed in Seattle, a neighbor took me to the market and I was just in awe. Terrific place.
