Colorado Springs Sculpture

For Skywatch Friday this week, here's a simple photo of a sculpture in Acacia Park in downtown Colorado Springs.
If you're attentive you'll realize it was taken earlier in the year while the trees were still bare.

  4. Doesn't matter what time of year it is in Colorado as far as the sky goes! It's always beautiful blue. That sculpture is perfectly poised to point that out!

  5. Looks a bit as if he might be able to fly once night has fallen.

Please have a good new month.

  12. Beautiful blue sculpture is standing high to the equally beautiful Colorado blue sky. I want the cool air of the time when the picture was taken wafting toward me. We are enduring scorching heat. Too hot to stay outdoors.

  14. It looks like a weathervane with a fish that has been wind damaged. I love the colors, but I'm not sure I really love the sculpture.
