More South Korean Seas
Here's another photo taken near Busan, South Korea, of a lighthouse. On a clear day you're supposed to be able to see Japan from here, but we certainly didn't!
Vintage Weekly is the place to see more old scans like this.
What a fascinating lighthouse and such a great capture, Al!! I have enjoyed so much your "old" captures! Hope your weekend is going well! Give Socks a pat for Sam and me!! Enjoy!
I have seen a lot of lighthouses with this shape in photographs of them in Canada and places like that. They call it "Apple Core". Looks similar to the Control tower at Heathrow Airport. Dangerous sea around there I reckon, not surprised that there are a lot of lighthouses on the coast. Thanks for sharing Al:)
Thanks for visiting and leaving a comment - I love reading them and look forward to viewing your blog. If you only allow Google+ comments I won't be able to leave a comment in return.
thanks for sharing! No lighthouse I've ever seen had that shape.

ReplyDeleteIt's lovely even if the view was obscured by the fog.
