Aspen Skies

For Skywatch Friday, here are a couple more photos from Sunday's hike in Emerald Valley of the aspen trees turning their classic gold.
By this time of year we could see snow any time.

  1. These trees from Emerald Valley looks gorgeous. What a stunning color!

PS: Sounds you had such good memories from Portugal! I've never been abroad yet... I would love to know Portugal and USA too...

  2. I can't wait to find time to get our vacation photos online - Colorado is such a beautiful state. The golden aspens didn't let us down! If we could only transport our neighborhood and jobs...we would be there in a second. The people so friendly - the hiking trails so inviting! :)

Your pictures make me wish we were still in last week!

It will be interesting to see how the trees turn out here in the midwest. The early (March) bloom and stressful-drought summer may take their toll in a lacking fall season.

  12. Thank you for letting me enjoy another trip through the aspens. I was there a few years ago, and they just blew me away with such beauty.
