Summer Aspen

Looking straight up on a Colorado summer hike can be very rewarding.
This was taken on a hike up Mount Herman a few weeks ago, and it's an obvious Skywatch Friday post. Before long these aspen will be shimmering gold.

  9. I often look up through the trees and this one you have captured is particularly beautiful, we don't have Aspen here.

  10. I agree with you. I fee like watching this scene makes me think of a mat and a pillow and lay down staring way up high. ^_^ Very relaxing image for me.

  12. Joining the green lovely leaves before they are getting yellow! that is: I love also the yellow as the green.. still it's a status on a change in the nature I know is coming sooner or later.. a change that makes me melancholy, beeing a leaf or a bird..

  13. Just beautiful -- thanks for looking up and for sharing~ I can almost see them turning to gold. We really hope to get back to Colorado again during Fall one of these years. We talked about that in June when we were there.
