Coming back from California earlier this year we stayed a night in Albuquerque. Probably the most famous attraction there is the Sandia Peak Tramway that takes you to the crestline of the Sandia Mountains.
I hope you're not afraid of heights before you board and commit yourself to the ride.
And it is certainly high, as it's got the world's third-longest single span.
Next week I'll show you photos I took on the ride. I'm linking this to the Shadow Shot Sunday meme for the second photo, to Our World Tuesday, and to Scenic Sunday.

Wow that ride looks such a lot of fun. The little church in the woods far below is a brilliant.
ReplyDeleteGreat way to see the mountains!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great view!
ReplyDeleteGreat photos, Al! I would love to know Albuquerque. New Mexico sounds a beautiful place.
ReplyDeleteAbout Copan building, I agree with you, I wouldn't want to live in such a large building. I prefer to live in a house, near the ground, the flowers, the green.
ReplyDeleteLove the photos though don't know about the tram ride. We were at the Balloon Festival a couple of years ago so right there, but let my fears get the best of me...Got to get over that!
ReplyDeleteOh yeah! We loved this...and I love your picture and the memories.
ReplyDeleteOw wow, lovely views from the tram. It might make me a little nervous riding on it though. Great shots, thanks for sharing. Have a happy day!
ReplyDeleteOh wow! As long as I'm just sitting in there, I can conquer the fear. I would love to experience something like this even once. Fantastic view!
ReplyDeleteWhen I was a teenager, an uncle (who lived in Albuquerque) drove my grandmother, cousin and me to the Sandia peak. I was tense the whole time.
