We've had quite the variety of weather this week, everything from warm, springlike sunshine to snow and bitter cold. For Skywatch Friday, here are some of those snow clouds obscuring Pikes Peak, taken from Garden of the Gods during my lunch hour yesterday
Lots of sky and not much definition, they're definitely not photos I would hang on my wall, but I still think they're pretty.
They are beautiful, wintry skies, Al!! Like most of our skies, they have a beauty all their own, it's just up to us to see it!! Guess that's pretty true of life in general! Hope your week is going well! Give Socks a pat from Sam and me!
ReplyDeleteIt looks to be very cold. Sasquatch country.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous - almost abstract!
ReplyDeleteLovely photos!
ReplyDeleteHappy SkyWatcFriday to you!
Looks lide you were up near the sky to get these shots!
ReplyDeleteThey are pretty and they tell us what winter is like! No blue Colorado skies for you on that particular day!.
ReplyDeleteAl, love your pretty mountain scenes. Great captures. Happy Skywatching!
ReplyDeleteI have alot of photos that are strictly for my own enjoyment. As long as you enjoy capturing and viewing the images, that's all that truly matters.
ReplyDeleteColorado has stupendous views. I believe that your eye captured how it really looks which is a compliment.
ReplyDeleteJM Illinois
this is such a sight to behold on pictures. i cannot wait to see it in person.
ReplyDeleteVery beautiful photos for SWF,Al!
ReplyDeleteThank you for sharing and have a nice weekend!
I think they're lovely! Our springlike temps and sunshine deserted us and it's been cold, snowing and often blowing all week here, and I've barely gotten a glimpse of the base of the foothills for all the cloud cover and veils of heavy falling snow. Can't wait till the sun shines again tomorrow to see what the peaks look like! Your photos remind me that they should provide some good photo ops! :-)
ReplyDeleteI always love the view of Pikes Peak!
