Springtime in the Rockies

We've had quite the change in weather this week. On Monday afternoon it was 60.7° F (15.9° C) at my house. This morning when I took this snowy photo in the front yard it was -1.5° F (-18.6° C) here. That's a drop of  over 62° F (34° C) in just over a day!
Luckily it's going to warm up quickly again. But it makes for a fun Skywatch Friday weather story!

  3. Gotta love the weather in the plains! I grew up in South Dakota so I know exactly what you mean. I see my hometown got slammed with snow today! I'm happy it stays up in the mountains around here.

  24. Our son just sent a photo of their snow-covered yard (near Boulder). I thought he meant it was taken today (Monday), so I guess it's still winter at your house too.
