Madurodam

This is an old scanned slide (1976) from Madurodam, taken when I was growing up in Holland. I've posted a photo from here once before.
It's an impressive miniature village - as you can see the detail on the buildings is incredible. It's my entry for Vintage Weekly.

  1. It looks like a to scale model. Nothing like great craftsmanship to attract visitors. A good shot with the people there for size.

  7. stunning miniature! That had to have taken hours of grueling delicate work. I'm interested what material was used since its location is outside.

  8. Yes it is very impressive miniature village. I think you are fond of making this miniature villages, because KLM also gives their business class passengers those miniature houses. My friend who is a frequent flyer has a lot of them.
