Seattle Duck Ride

While we were in Seattle back in March we rode one of those amphibious ducks. They start on land, then go into one of the lakes.
I always like a city skyline seen from the water.
And the views of an old gasworks, now a park, are unusual.
Visit Our World Tuesday to see lots more interesting sights.

  2. Very nice! Now that I'm officially retired, I hope to ride one of those ducks and make it to some of the many parks around here.... Gas Works included.

  9. Those amphibious ducks are quite remarkable. I remember the Amphicar from the early 1960's. Thats quite a beautiful skylibe bathed in blue light!

  13. Very nice photos of a beautiful city Al. I really need to go to the "gas works" and intend to do it soon.
    Whenever I see one of those Duck Boats, I think about the one that crashed in Philadelphia...
