Seattle Waterfront

From a spring trip to Seattle, here are a couple of photos of the waterfront. I liked this railing.
The Ferris Wheel was new since last time we were there.
It's my entry for the Our World Tuesday and Blue Monday memes.

  1. Ah, memories! There are definitely things about Seattle that I miss in spite of the fact that I enjoy being back in Portland where I lived before and being close to my youngest and his bride-to-be!! I love your photos as always! Have a great week!!

  4. Nice photos, seems that every city in the world has adopted those Ferris Wheels-the Singapore Flyer is the original though.

  9. I agree with you about the railings. I like it when something quite ordinary is transformed into a work of art.

  12. The bluest skies you've ever seen are in Seattle! (Although some people put an "N" in front of 'ever'...you certainly got there on a beautiful blue day, no matter how rare! Love the wrought iron. It really is a truly great city -- rain or shine!!!

  13. Al - I've never been to Seattle. I do love seeing photos of that city. Are you getting a lot of rain? We have rain nearly every afternoon - sometimes torrential. The forest is very green.

  17. That can't be Seattle! I see blue sky and it's not raining. Okay, I know it doesn't rain all the time there, but I've been there 4 times and it I've never been there when it wasn't raining. I still loved it though...
