Ah, memories! There are definitely things about Seattle that I miss in spite of the fact that I enjoy being back in Portland where I lived before and being close to my youngest and his bride-to-be!! I love your photos as always! Have a great week!!
The bluest skies you've ever seen are in Seattle! (Although some people put an "N" in front of 'ever'...you certainly got there on a beautiful blue day, no matter how rare! Love the wrought iron. It really is a truly great city -- rain or shine!!!
Al - I've never been to Seattle. I do love seeing photos of that city. Are you getting a lot of rain? We have rain nearly every afternoon - sometimes torrential. The forest is very green.
That can't be Seattle! I see blue sky and it's not raining. Okay, I know it doesn't rain all the time there, but I've been there 4 times and it I've never been there when it wasn't raining. I still loved it though...

ReplyDeleteSeattle is always such a great place to visit.
ReplyDeleteBoth lovely shots, each in it's own way.
ReplyDeleteNice photos, seems that every city in the world has adopted those Ferris Wheels-the Singapore Flyer is the original though.
ReplyDeleteHow blue-tiful.
ReplyDeleteI'm looking forward to reading your comment on my blog.
Happy 1st Blue Monday, Al.
Great photos, Al!
ReplyDeleteLove so much the railing too.
Have a nice week ahead.
That is quite the railing!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots from the waterfront.
ReplyDeleteI agree with you about the railings. I like it when something quite ordinary is transformed into a work of art.
ReplyDeleteSeattle is one of my favorite cities and I haven't been there since they added the *wheel* ... I feel a visit coming on!
