Near the Space Needle in Seattle is the Chihuly Garden & Glass exhibit. Although we didn't go in, I took these photos from outside the hedge that surrounds the exhibition.
The glass works are incredible, even seen from a distance.
They are very intricate.
And they're my entry to Our World Tuesday this week, as well as Blue Monday for those fabulous blue Seattle skies.
We visited the installation last year when we were in Seattle. It is really beautiful.
ReplyDeleteWell, you know how much I love Chihuly's work and it is so colorful and beautiful!! Terrific captures for the day, Al.
ReplyDeleteHi Al,
ReplyDeleteWe have a Chihuly Glass place here in Tamps, but I haven't yet visited it.
Thanks for joining in to celebrate Blue Monday’s 5th Blogiversary!
A few years back, his creations were at a Chicago conservatory...we eagerly went and were wowed. Beautiful pieces of work!
ReplyDeleteGood reason to go back, next time you can go in; it's worth it! Wonderful pictures.
ReplyDeleteWow - truly amazing works of art.
ReplyDeleteThese look incredible. I must see some Chihuly work
ReplyDeletenever been to Seattle but it's definitely one of the places i want to go. love that first and last picture. the sun behind that first photograph just makes the picture. have a great day~
ReplyDeleteSo gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteThe first one here, the plant, is VERY lovely! I love that you've got the sunrays in the edges! :)
ReplyDeleteI also like the glass works!
I like how beautifully the light falls on the first of your photos. Also, I see by your header that you were close to my neck of the woods. With such unusually dry weather this summer it is good to see people with their umbrellas on the bridge. :)
ReplyDeleteReally interesting!! Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
ReplyDeleteWow.. Beautiful art! :)
ReplyDeleteLove so much Chihuly art! Just amazing pictures.
