Garden of the Gods Reflections
The very heavy September rains created a once-in-a-generation pond in Garden of the Gods. I got some sunrise photos before work one day, and here they are. The water is all gone now and isn't likely to be back for years, possibly decades.
Awesome captures, Al!! How wonderful that you were able to get them!! Thanks for sharing and what wonderful reflections for the week!! Hope you and Socks have a great weekend!!
What an awesome experience for you! A perfect few seconds like that happen only once or twice in a lifetime. Fabulous shots, that light literally only last for less than 15 seconds.
Can clearly see the difference with the pics I took a few years ago. Here everything is drenched with water. This is very historic, and you can be proud of these photos!
Glad you enjoyed my post Al. I do hope you will participate in the gratitude quilt this year. Information on what to do is at the top of my blog… it takes five minutes to follow the instructions and send a few words about what you are grateful for.
Thanks for visiting and leaving a comment - I love reading them and look forward to viewing your blog. If you only allow Google+ comments I won't be able to leave a comment in return.
Nice reflections! Love the bright orange colors too.

ReplyDeleteI'm trying to process the concept of a once-in-a-generation pond. It certainly makes a stunning surface for reflection of the orange mountains.
