Here's a scanned 1976 photo taken in Holland, at Scheveningen harbor.
Back then it was largely used by fishing boats, and people walked around it. It's for Vintage Weekly. It took a little work to make this one usable as it wasn't level or well-framed, but a little editing did wonders.
Ah, I love the boats!! Enjoy your weekend, Al! Give Socks a pat for me!!
ReplyDeleteWow- look at all those tall booms, lined up in a row. Very interesting.
ReplyDeleteSuch pleasant memories! Have a pic of this harbor with hubby and daughter in the 70ties too:) And I lived right at the beach, but only for 1 1/2 years
ReplyDeleteGrear photo, Al! So many fishing boats.
ReplyDeleteI also have been scanning "old" pictures and it is always a surprise.

Sending kisses to lovely Socks.
