Stardust
The North Sea gets some tremendous gales, and they sometimes resulted in shipwrecks. Here's one from 1976 (a scanned slide) when I lived in Holland - the Stardust. This may be a copy of one of my father's slides.
Terrific capture, Al!! Not a place I'd want to be in bad weather! Fortunately, the cruises I've taken over the years didn't experience any bad weather!! Hope your weekend is off to a great start! Give Socks a pat!!

Great shot, an impressive size shown by all the people around it.

ReplyDeleteThat is a dramatic photo of this shipwreck. The ship looks like it could wait for high tide and just sail away. Bet that didn't happen. Wow!
ReplyDeleteLovely composition, I love it :)
ReplyDeletePerfect for vintage weekly. The picture from your father's slide is beautiful Al! Have a great weekend :)
