Saturday's hike in Red Rock Canyon, 56° F (13.3° C).
Tuesday morning after a little snowstorm, on the way to work, stopping by Garden of the Gods, -2° F (-18.9° C).
That's Colorado! More photos from both days to come. In the meantime, visit Skywatch Friday.
Ah, you have been enjoying it all the past few days, haven't you!!! Beautiful captures!! Hope your week is going well, Al! Enjoy!
ReplyDeleteIt sure is Colorado! Our Colorado kids have all kinds of different layers in their cars at all times.
ReplyDeleteThe beauty is typical Colorado too! Thanks for sharing it.
Your second photo looks very chilly! Stay warm out there!
ReplyDeleteYour lovely picture of the red rocks with snow almost has me missing the Colorado winter weather...until I think of how low the temperature has been there! Brrrr!!
ReplyDeleteHow gorgeous in all kinds of weather.
ReplyDeleteAl, you live in a gorgeous place!
ReplyDeleteI would love to be there...
Great photos!
Both days look beautiful.
ReplyDeleteBoth beautiful! I love the deep blue skies you have at that altitude. And the weather seems to swing wildly along your side of the rockies.
ReplyDeleteBefore seeing the first image here, I thought I was seeing part of a pyramid, I think it was the coloring of the stone that fooled me. What an interesting name Garden of the Gods. I love how the snow has 'painted' the shrubs and trees.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots. I like that view in the first shot.
ReplyDeleteNice captures from Colarado. The blue contrasts so well.
ReplyDeletegreat sky shot
