Last time I was in California (almost a year ago!) we visited a couple of winemakers in the San Luis Obispo area. These photos are all from The Baileyana Vineyards. It's such a pretty area! Unfortunately I was the driver so I didn't get to try the wines...
Ah, the vineyards in that area are so beautiful and your captures are superb as always, Al!! Hope you have a great new week!!
ReplyDeleteVineyards are so scenic!

I'm ALWAYS the DD, so I never get to enjoy wine tastings...maybe someday...
ReplyDeleteSeems very unfair to be visiting the vineyards but unable to taste the end result.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! My husband and I love to visit Wineries and have been to Sonoma and Napa in California quite a few times.
ReplyDeleteI live in the south west corner of Western Australia - a very well known wine growing area. I am so lucky to live so close to it. We have views like this too, but without the mountains.
ReplyDeleteHave a great week. I am joining you at Our World Tuesday.
beautiful scenery indeed. vineyards are peaceful place, imo.
ReplyDeleteAhh! I know how frustrating it is not to taste wine after driving all the way!
ReplyDeleteWow. It must have been a really amazing experience.
ReplyDeleteoh the drought they are having! I enjoy visiting vineyards. looks as though you had a good time.
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous scenery!
ReplyDeleteThat looks like just a few miles up the road from us. California and South Australia are very similar.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful scenery. Vineyards have a romantic feel to them. Nice memories of your trip, too.
ReplyDeleteNever be the driver!! Boom, Bobbi and Gary.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous rolling hills -- beautiful vineyards. Next time you've gotta take a bus ;>).
ReplyDeleteThese vineyards in California looks beautiful! I would love to visit one.
ReplyDeletePS: I am glad you liked to see these photos of my city. The Santa Claus photo was taken in December 2007. I just added that note on my post. Thank you for that.
Such enormous vineyards! We don't have it here.. I don't think.. and mountains of sand. I guess it's a rich soil for grapes to grow.
ReplyDeleteToday it's sunny and warm here! :)
Nice photos Al! If don't get some rain pretty soon, I fear for that industry...
ReplyDeleteWhat gorgeous scenes!
