There's only one place I've ever visited that has these.
That was the turntable where they're turned around at the end of the line.
I tried to capture the hills in this next one.
They even go around corners!
Yes, of course these photos are from San Francisco. And they're for Our World Tuesday.
Ah, great shots as always and I immediately recognized San Francisco!! Wonderful aren't they!!! Hope you have a great new week, Al, and that the doggies are doing well!!
ReplyDeleteI visited San Fran four years ago, and my hubby and I rode the cable cars. It was great fun and so fascinating! Nice shots!
ReplyDeleteNow that's one place I dearly love. Thanks for taking me back there with your splendid pictures.
ReplyDeleteWhat a glorious city. I must say I'd much rather go on the cable cars in that city than driving a car with a standard transmission!!!! Have you traveled Lombard Street in S F?

Great photos of the cable cars, especially showing the turntable! Love the scene of the SF street, too! I lived in Concord for two years as a young teen and went to SF once, I think! :-) My parents weren't huge on getting out and seeing things plus we never had a lot of money. But I'm happy I went the one time. Great place! Would love to go back!
ReplyDeleteOne of the many things that make San Francisco a great place.
