Late Summer Snow

A few days ago it was over 80° F (26.7° C) at my house. It was 29° F (-1.6° C) this morning, and this was the scene that greeted me.
I'm sure the trees are confused with this late summer snow!
And the dogs will wonder what's going on.
It will warm up again by the weekend. This is an amusing extra Skywatch Friday post.

  9. Tooo early! But as you say it won't last. (The first time we visited our kids after they moved to CO was about this time of year and we had a pretty good snow one morning (I'd been in shorts and tshirt the day before there) -- we had our brand new RV and I was afraid we were going to be snowed in for the winter. Geoff told me it would melt by the next day and he was right. Now I know all about changeable Colorado weather.
