Desolate Coast

In places, the California coastline is very desolate, windy, and cold. This is one of those places, north of San Luis Obispo, where we drove and stopped for a few photos last year

  3. I have a friend who lives in California and she has shared many beautiful photos of San Luis Obispo. In spite of being desolate, this beach would still draw me to it.

  7. This is actually the kind of coastline I prefer. Perhaps I am just a desolate person. (And obviously this is why we like the Oregon coast better than the Florida one.) This pic looks a lot like our favorite Oregon places.

  8. It does look cold and aloof. Although this coastline is changeable depending on weather conditions and time of day, it is always dramatic and awe-inspiring.
