Door Snake

Happy Halloween! Imagine my surprise the other day when I opened my front door to take the dogs for a walk and found this just outside.
And right below it was a buddy.
But they seemed rather friendly.

  18. Garter snakes for sure. They are not poisonous, but they will bite if you don't leave them alone. It hurts!
