Stanley Canyon Part II

Finishing up my series on Stanley Canyon, the trail can be quite steep at times, even a little challenging.
Yes, the trail leads over the rock outcropping in this next photo (lean to the right if you're uncomfortable). Socks had no trouble, he just scrambled right up (and down on the way back).
The wildflowers were pretty.
At the top is a reservoir, but it was almost empty when we were there.
This photo shows a view back down the narrow canyon.

  10. It's great to hike and seek adventure. Caution must be strictly observed fir other hand. I used to hike several years ago. Now that I 'm in Russia, all I hike to are snow piles and ice hills :). Beautiful scenery and wonderful pictures.
