Ward Reservation Trail

When I was in the Boston area last summer I was intrigued by the Ward Reservation so did a little hiking there.
It was well-maintained and a very pleasant place to get away from the bustling city.
The mix of fields and meadows was very inviting.
At the top were some towers...
...and a large water tank. More photos to come.

  1. I always look for greenbelts in the cities I visit. Looks deserted there! Too much spring in the mts, Al, but still enough snow for skiing.

  2. Like all these towers, and the round tank!
Thanks for visiting my blog, Al. Hope you have a speedy adjustment to all the details of your job! Yes, I understand that your contact will be intermittent, since my son just has landed an internship in a new company in Barcelona - so many new things to learn.

Just use anything that takes place during your season - not only landscapes, but also feasts, experiences, holidays, food, etc. That means you may use it also for other memes (Mon-Wed) at the same time -have no problem with that! Enjoy the rest of your week!

  6. I was just talking with friends about Boston last night over dinner and I voiced my interest in making a road trip to Boston in the near future.

  8. I really like urban parks and green space and trails ... Always seems kind of magical to be out in nature and yet so close to the City! This area looks beautiful.
