It's Autumn

It's definitely autumn - we had the first freeze last week at our house.
The leaves are mostly gone at the higher elevations but I found these last weekend.

    The colours are stunning. I count myself fortunate to live in London with so much culture on my doorstep yet only one hour from the coast and 20 minutes from the Kent countryside. I don't get to see an Autumn palette such as yours though.

    Are those golden aspen trees? They are a favorite mountain tree of mine.

    Beautiful colours! We also had our first frost this week but the autumn colours are slower to appear in the trees. I am blaming it on a very dry summer. Its still one of my favourite seasons though.

    Still beautiful golden fall color. Frost makes me think winter, not Autumn ;>)
