This week's Skywatch Friday post has no sky, just some stuff that fell from it last night. We get huge changes in weather from day to day this time of year - it's usually beautiful but once in a while a change moves through. So on the way to work this morning I took this photo in a neighbor's yard.
Oh NO...it's SNOW! Where are you located that you are still getting snow? Poor little tulip.
ReplyDeleteSpring can be a cruel time of year with wide swings in conditions. We are suppose to get a hard freeze tonight. Not sure how the fruit trees and flowers will fair.
ReplyDeleteWow - your winter came really late!
ReplyDeleteThis is so beautiful...
ReplyDeleteGreat photo to illustrate just how the weather changes so much. I feel so sorry for the burdened down tulip! Hope the sun comes out soon!
ReplyDeletePoor flower.
ReplyDeleteThis is the sort of scene that would capture my eye too, Al. Nice one!

great minds think alike :-) (about both of us posting the "same" tulip). great touch of colour in whiteness. it seems to have ice crust on it as well?
ReplyDeleteCreative and dramatic. A bow to the snow.
ReplyDeleteA sweet little sign of spring in all that white snow!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful capture of the tulip..
