Peak Moods (11) - Refreshing
This photo was taken for Skywatch Friday yesterday morning from my front porch. I loved seeing all the new overnight snow on this 14,115-foot (4,302 meter) high mountain. Notice the very clear snowline just below treeline.
Beautiful! Yes I can clearly see the snowline. What a beautiful view you have, and it might be ok to have some snow on the mountain top as far as it doesn't settle on the ground.

Late spring snows are keeping the high altitude mountains so beautifully white!

ReplyDeleteBy the way, it snowed here last night, but the snow did not stay on the ground..
ReplyDeleteIt is beautiful -- and even more so when I think about this being your backyard view! (I miss mountains -- hope to see them again next month!)

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful patch on earth you are in! While we are suffering from heat, you are wallowing in cold, haha!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous shot! I wonder what that snowline elevation is? 8 or 9K??
ReplyDeleteMajestic and gorgeous!
