Love kangaroo, Al! In Portuguese the name is "canguru". I read on Google that the largest species in the family are called "kangaroos" and the smallest are generally called "wallabies". Great photo, Al! Thanks! I wish to visit Australia and to see them jumping around!
They are so exotic to us, but I visit an Australian blogger who sees them on her ordinary walks...I imagine it kind of like seeing rabbits (or prairie dogs for you) maybe. I'd love to even see them in a zoo actually.
