I enjoyed visiting many missions in California on a long road trip years ago. They were all unique and interesting. I think San Juan Capistrano was my favorite because of all the legends about it.
Gosh looking back to last post the Mission is much bigger inside than it looks from here on the outside.. a wee bit like the TARDIS ☺ I agree with Sallie above, that's quite a cactus!
