Bridal Veil Falls (Yosemite)

Possibly the most famous waterfall in Yosemite is Bridal Veil Falls.
You don't want to know how long we waited to get a parking spot nearby, but it was worth it.
It is 617 feet (188 meters) high and truly spectacular.

  1. Wonderful picture! The one time we visited Yosemite it was in April and the waterfall was spectacular. I've heard it isn't as great in the summer. Based on this post, you must have been there in the spring as well. (It is supposed to not be as crowded in spring either -- we had to camp about 50 miles away, so I doubt if we'd even have been able to get in later in the season.)

Fabulous place. It's a pity, it is too far from here.
    Great photo.
