Here are some shots from a little off the San Francisco tourist track. It's the Lands End park, on the Pacific Ocean side of the Golden Gate Bridge, and it includes the Sutro Bath ruins shown here.
It's a very pretty park with lovely trails and trees.
The coastline is fairly rugged.
If you're lucky, the famous bridge will show itself through the mist.
The fog came and went for us.
Here's one of my favorite shots of the bridge.
Good photos of both wilderness and the Golden Gate Bridge. From your photos it is hard to believe you are so close to the city. Have a great week ahead.
ReplyDeleteWonderful Post. A Really Beautiful landscape and i Love the Bridge in the fog. Great shot.
ReplyDeleteThat last shot is spectacular.
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely stunning views Al. You reminded me why I loved the San Francisco area.
ReplyDeleteThe Bridge is magical rising out of the mist! I don’t know about the sutra baths....must visit Mr Google!
ReplyDeleteAmazing pics.
ReplyDeleteLast pic my favorite.
Wow - superb!
ReplyDeleteHello, pretty captures of the California coastline. I love the view of the bridge too. Enjoy your day and new week ahead!
ReplyDeleteBoa tarde, a seleção de fotos é maravilhosa, estão bem captadas, a foto relativa à ponte é fantastica.
ReplyDeleteContinuação de boa semana,
AG
I can see why the last shot is your favourite. It should be enlarged and framed.
ReplyDeleteIt's been quite a while since I last visited San Francisco. Now I want to go back!
Thanks for sharing.

So beautiful! I need to go back to San Francisco. I have been only once which is a shame considering I have lived in California for more than 10 years.
ReplyDeleteLove those images of the Golden Gate bridge emerging from the fog.
ReplyDeleteWhen we were in San Fran last August, I read about this place and the ruined baths, but we did not make it that far. It looks spectacular, and so pleased for you that the fog cooperated to create the opportunity for such eerily beautiful shots of the bridge! Well done!
