Kuromon Ichiba Market

There are some famous street markets in Japan, and we visited Kuromon Ichiba Market in Osaka while we were there.
It's a lively, covered market with lots of food.
I thought it was fun to wander around, although I'm sure we were obviously tourists.
There are lots of interesting alleys nearby too.

What a fantastic trip! The photos you show us are enviable.
It's a shame, Japan is too far from Spain ...

  2. Great looking market. Wish we had one like it here. One of the best markets ever is in Barcelona, Spain.

  5. When I saw the title I was imaging some ancient, venerable market in the countryside with ladies in kimonos, not a busy street with neon lights!

  6. Bustling and full of good and interesting stuff. The markets have a little Granville Island (in Vancouver, BC) indoor/outdoor feel with all its stalls.
