Vancouver's Olympic Cauldron

Today's Scenic Sunday post highlights some city scenery, this time in Vancouver. The most recent Winter Olympics were held there, and here are a couple of photos of the Olympic Cauldron, in the downtown area by the waterfront.
Stop by on Monday to see this at night, when it's illuminated very nicely.

  4. I like the close up view.
Is it not lit up as an eternal flame?

  5. Lovely pictures! :) I'm not so interested in watching sport games, so I did not follow it much.. But I saw the town and surroundings (right, on TV)

  6. All very futuristic. The cauldron seems to have worn better than some Olympic leftovers.
