This week's theme at Tina's PicStory is reflections, which matches the Watery Wednesday meme, so this photo is for both. I thought it a good time to introduce Bellevue's Mercer Slough Park, which I visited when we were in the Seattle area this summer. This large park includes a waterway, swampy areas, and lots of great trails. But first up is a simple reflection taken in the park.
I've got lots more photos to post from this beautiful park which I'll post over the next few weeks.
Great capture of a reflection. At the first sight, I thought it was captured in low angle pointing to the sky.
ReplyDeletelove it! so different...

ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful embroidery, really superb !!!!!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a gorgeous reflection, Al! It looks so delicate and somehow mysterious -- of course, I have an over active imagination!! But whatever, it's a wonderful capture! Have a great evening!

Very lovely reflections on the water!
ReplyDeleteA swamp seems to be a negative to many. Yet, the still swamp waters are a perfect natural mirror, the flora reflecting beautifully on its surface. A great capture!
ReplyDeleteThat's a great photo. And the odd thing is -- we have beautiful Sloughs in Florida and I posted about them as if they were something new (which they were to me) -- after all those years in Oregon and Washington I had never heard of this lovely spot -- now I really want to go see it.
ReplyDeleteOkay, I first thought sunlight through the foliage but when I read your post and mentioned Watery Wednesday, my orientation corrected itself. :D optical trick, nice one.
ReplyDeleteThis is also the nice shot.
