Is this the oval office? No, it's an exact replica at the Ronald Reagan Library and Museum, in Simi Valley, California, where I visited last year.
Regardless of your politics, it's an interesting place to visit, and I'll have more photos from it in the next couple of weeks. I'll finish this post with his grave.
Fine photos of the Reagan Museum. He was president during a turbulent time. A Chinese curse is, "May you live in interesting times." I've always believed that he was suffering from Alzheimer's Disease in his second term, and carefully led by his handlers. Sad.
ReplyDeleteI find these places of real interest. It gives many people the opportunity to imagine what the Oval office looks like.
ReplyDeleteI have to admit that I was one of his fans-both as an actor and as president. Those sculptures of him and his wife are fabulous.
ReplyDeleteThanks for sharing these photos of a man (and lady) whom I, a South African, greatly admired. Hope you had a wonderful weekend. Jo

Great post for the day, Al, I had commented earlier, but not sure what happened to it, so here I am again! Hope the changes are going well!!
ReplyDeleteI like the family photos on the table behind the desk. That would be an interesting place to visit.
ReplyDeletelove the oval office shot. thanks for sharing these.
ReplyDeleteThere is a replica at the Clinton Library in Little Rock as well (if you want to be non-partisan, you could visit it too ;>)!.... I know a few RVers who made visiting all the Pres. libraries and birthplaces one of their travel goals. You do learn a lot -- as you say -- regardless of your politics. The Truman one was wonderful as well. (We only visited the ones we stumbled upon but we were glad we did!
ReplyDeleteWonderful place.
ReplyDeleteRegardless of politics, I likes the man for his honesty.
ReplyDeleteThat is interesting!
