Top of the Peak

Continuing with the trip up the Pikes Peak Cog Railway, here are some photos from the top of the Peak, 14,115 feet (4,302 meters) above sea level. If you're in the area, you really should go to the top of the Peak, whether you take the railway, drive, or hike (if you're in great shape)!

  1. These photos show well the huge landscape seen from these mountains. It must be a great feeling to be up there and watch the sky and land below just like in a great painting.

I haven't talked with my sister in Montrose this week,.........are y'all getting any snow in the high country yet?

  11. Beautiful views from the peak. Such a shame that 1,500m is my upper limit without oxygen.
