We had a little snow yesterday, but these photos are from a few weeks ago when we had a big storm. Socks doesn't mind the snow - he's got the fur coat for it. I call him my winter dog.
But Laika is built for hot weather - she's my summer dog. It's unfortunate for her that she lives 7,100 feet (2.1 km) above sea level where it frequently snows!
Laika looks just like I would if I had to walk in that snow ;>) (only she is far more graceful).
ReplyDeleteHello, your dogs are so cute. I am not a snow lover or winter person. Thank you for linking up and sharing your post. Have a happy weekend!
ReplyDeleteSuch a contrast in dogs! Cute pics of both of them.
ReplyDeleteThese dogs must each have a different personality:) At 7000 feet the weather must be much more extreme in the winter (cooler in the summer?)
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend and hope to see you there at SEASONS-Spring has Sprung (thumbnail link is open Mon-Wed till 7pm, Pacific time)
How much they can withstand! I would have become a statue in that much snow.
ReplyDeleteLovely shots of both dogs. Have a great week ahead.
ReplyDeleteLove your dogs! At first glance, before I saw the title of your post, and also not looking straight … I thought the first photo was the back of a bear …
ReplyDeleteLovely captures!!
ReplyDeleteYou still have very thick snow, i pity the dogs'feet! I wish they have improvised shoes too. You are too far high up there compared to us.
ReplyDeleteLove seeing photos of Socks and Laika! So lovely you call Socks "my winter dog"!
ReplyDeleteGreat snows photos!
