Last time I was in the Los Angeles area I spent a couple of hours in Santa Monica, and wandered around Tongva Park.

It was mostly attractive and had some nice features.

Another Tree

I'm sure a photo of a tree for Skywatch Friday isn't a surprise on this blog. I love the shape of this one, and my fisheye lens exaggerated everything about it! I was just about on the ground in a nearby park to take this.

Terrace Hill, San Luis Obispo

I liked the views from here, including some nearby hills...

...and some more distant ones (this is actually the same view from the first shot but with a wider field of view).
