I'm just about out of scenic Seattle pictures, but here are some from the ferry ride from Bainbridge back to Seattle in the late afternoon. As you leave the dock Seattle is visible in the distance, partly obscured by the island.
Mount Rainier is visible in the far distance, although it was somewhat obscured by the atmosphere on this day.
Seattle draws closer until it fills the view.
I can't recommend strongly enough taking this ferry if you're visiting Seattle as it's a very inexpensive way to get a great view of the city and surrounding area. I also can't recommend enough visiting the Scenic Sunday blog as it's full of links to beautiful and varied photographs from around the world.

Beautiful Seattle...one of my favorite cities. I'd love a return trip up this way. And, I would take your advice and get on that ferry for the overall view.
ReplyDeleteFantastic photos of the city! It actually looks like the city is floating above the water! I will definately be taking that ride if I'm ever in Seattle :D
ReplyDeleteSeattle is a very scenic city indeed: mountains water, mist... Very nice shots.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful fairy mountains in the backdrop of Seattle's skyline. The watery view makes it looks relaxing. Reminds me of our beautiful harbour here down under.
ReplyDeleteNature's Gifts.
Lovely Seattle! Have been there once, but would love to visit again. beautiful photos, Al! :)
ReplyDeleteI'd forgotten how beautiful Seattle is on a clear sunny day. They don't happen that often, do they?
ReplyDeleteThe wide variety of natural and manmade things to see in your first photo is quite amazing. And I love the rich colors of your last!

ReplyDeleteYou have a wonderful blog!
Lovely photos. When we visited a few years ago this month, we did the horse-drawn carriage ride through downtown Seattle, visited Pikes Market, the piers, and a garden. Such a beautiful city!
