Apparently they're on top of Mount Herman, where they were in swarms this summer!
On the way down I ran into this heading up - I don't remember what it was.

ReplyDeleteWe call them ladybirds here in the UK... The last time I saw so many was when I was on a coach trip in Europe and a load of them managed to get into the coach when we were parked up.
ReplyDeletegreat shot of the ladybugs, I just love them. Legend around here has it, if you have a Lady Bug in your house, you will have good luck for a week.

I have never seen such a flood of ladybugs! Clytie and I think alike because I figured it was a domestic unicorn with its red collar and saddle bags!
