Here are some photos I captured during a walk along the Portland (Oregon) riverfront when we visited for one day early last summer. First, for Sunday Bridges, here's the Steel Bridge, complete with a train crossing it (just to the right of the towers).
For Watery Wednesday, here's a water-skier.
And just for fun, this is the Salmon Street Springs fountain.
And of course, it is the City of Roses - this was about the only rose we saw when we were there.
And of course, it's all part of Our World Tuesday.

And of course it brings back wonderful memories -- Portland's just a great city. You need a few more days there. But you got some mighty fine pictures in the time you had!
ReplyDeleteFantastic shots. I love the bridge, fountain and rose.
ReplyDeleteThe petals on the white rose remind me a little of the folds on an elegant wedding dress. The mix of water spray over clouds makes a fantastic capture. :)
ReplyDeleteHi Al, It was rainy in Portland when Bob & I visited last May, so I'm glad to see you had sunshine. Nice shots - I like the fountain.
ReplyDeleteAmazing shot on the fountain...and the rose is just perfect!

«Louis» apologizes for being so late in acknowledging your contribution to Sunday Bridges. Between Friday and Tuesday, his work days are usually 16 - 18 hours long, and that makes it difficult to comment at posts that have been contributed to the memes he posts of Saturday, Sunday and Monday. That said, he sincerely appreciates your contribution and hopes you will continue to join!
ReplyDeleteAnd, such a wonderful world, in photographs, it is. Lovely.
