I just got back from visiting relatives. If you don't know where this is, just look at the labels below the post. But it's a pretty distinctive landmark so you can probably guess!
Both photos were taken on Saturday, but I'm back in Colorado again. I'm linking this post to Our World Tuesday, as well as to Tina's PicStory as this week's theme is March Flowers. We had a little of every type of weather while we were there - sun, rain, and snow, so there are lots of varied photos to come.

Needless to say, it does look familiar to me!! How fun, Al!! I hope you had a wonderful visit!! And I hope you have a great week!
ReplyDeleteMust be a great view, once one gets up. Wishing you all a good new week ahead.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah - I know exactly where that is. It's in my neighbor city to the north. I've been to the top a couple of times.
ReplyDeleteHi Al..Wow that made me a bit dizzy, I have been called that too!!
ReplyDeleteI guess I am not to informed, but I am now because I Goggled it...the things you can learn blogging ; )
I don't do well with heights, but I sure do love Daffodils!!

Seattle I believe, the space needle in its classic pose. What is so cool is the dichotomy: the tall structure is modern and obviously man-made. The flowers are much closer to the ground and natural. A nice day is captured with hints of Spring here - nice!
ReplyDeleteHooray for the beautiful Queen City of the Pacific Northwest! Loving the reminder of "close to home." The daffodils are a big bonus. We don't get them here in Florida and I miss 'em.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos. I like the daffodils against the tall structure. And yes, once seen that structure is not easy to forget.
ReplyDeleteNice shots of the space needle in Seattle!
ReplyDeleteSeeing this makes me miss watching the episodes of Grey's Anatomy. Anyway, I love seeing daffodils on different blogs this time of the year; we don't have that flower here, so I can just admire it on blogs.
ReplyDeleteA wonderful view of it beneath those glorious blue skies.
ReplyDeleteStunning yellows in those daffodils. Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
ReplyDeleteI recognise it from 'Grey's Anatomy'...
ReplyDeleteFantastic shots of the tower against the sky.

ReplyDeleteI envy the place where you have been.

Beautiful photos, Al! I know exactly where that is, even I never been there... It's a postcard of Seattle I see many times on films and photos.
ReplyDeleteWe went to Seattle a couple of times but seeing the Space Needle with the flowers in front makes it a different shot – nice.
ReplyDeleteGreat photos, love the perspective. I have to say I'm drawn more to the gorgeous daffodils! Still waiting for spring here!
