New York Skies
We just got back from a short trip to New York. Here's a Skywatch Friday entry from last sunny Saturday afternoon. You may recognize the Empire State Building (that's as close as we got), and I was amused by the electronic billboard with the blue advertisement. There's more to come once I catch up on all the other unposted photos from this year.

I love how the blue windows of the empire state building and the electric blue billboard compliment the vast sky. Its like seeing different shades of the same colour on a giant canvas :)
ReplyDeleteGreat capture, Al!! I've always enjoyed the time I spent in NYC - even though I would never want to live there!! Beautiful blue skies! Look forward to seeing more, glad you had a good trip!! Give Socks a pat for me!!
ReplyDeleteHi Al thanks for visiting. I've seen the Empire State Bldg lighted like the colors of our flag just after the devastation of Typhoon Yolanda here. Of course i just saw it in the FB links, LOL.

ReplyDeletemany say the best time to visit ny is during the autumn; seems like its true with the blue sky and clear sky.
ReplyDeleteGreat shot from New York City. My sister who lives there has a view of the Empire State Building from her apartment.
ReplyDeleteIt was sunny last Saturday in New York. At the beginning at the week it was very cold but I am pleased that we had sun almost the whole time. We came back last Sunday and I also have many photos to download. We did not go too close to the Empire State Building this time either, but we did spent a day in the Public Library when it was so cold.
ReplyDeleteWhat a fabulous photo!
