One of the attractions in the Nashville area is a full-sized recreation of the Parthenon.
While the original Parthenon was completed in 438 BC, this replica was completed in 1925.
It's definitely worth a visit if you're in the area. Next week I'll show you inside.

ReplyDeleteDo you know why a replica like this was built in Nashville? It looks so out of place (even though the building is very nice). #OurWorldTuesday
ReplyDeleteI have never seen, or even heard about this building! Great photos Al.
ReplyDeleteImpressive recreation of one of the most representative monuments of Greco-Roman culture. The truth is that in your photos appears majestic.
I suppose you will know that in its measurements is the golden ratio, which appears in innumerable works of humanity.
