While the mountains had plenty of snow, here in the foothills we had the warmest, driest winter I can remember since I moved to Colorado. But finally we've had some snow, about 20 inches (51 cm) in the last week and a half including one fall of 11 inches (28 cm). And there's more on the way this week.
Nobody's complaining about the moisture as it reduces wildfire danger.
And it certainly makes the neighborhood pretty!

Beautiful snowy photos, Al! I was happy to see our snowfalls and rain recently. We had a few nearby wildfires that made me nervous until this moisture came.
ReplyDeleteHope you haven't been in too many snowball fights.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful Al!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! I love snow but so glad that come this time of year in TN we usually don't see it! We had one dusting and one snow about 1 inch high this year and that was it! Looking out my window right now I see GREEN! Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteWell, better late than never I guess!

ReplyDeleteLovely snow pics Al! Here in MN we haven't had much snow this winter either and it's really dry, could use a good rain or snow here too! Fire danger is always a concern so glad to see you've gotten some moisture there!
ReplyDeleteI wonder what will happen to you if you'll be here with us now! hahaha
ReplyDeleteIt does look very pretty. I'd prefer not to see it in my neighborhood though! imagine the chaos a snow storm would cause in SoCal...
